After publishing our new education booklet this past autumn, our education initiative is kicking into high gear this spring!
Our new educational booklet about birds in Georgia is already in most schools in the bottleneck. In September, we held a meeting involving more than 25 schools dedicated to promoting the study of birds in their classes.
In 2019 BRC started an educational project involving schools, teachers and Georgian conservationists, with the support of British Birds Charitable Trust (BBCT) and IJsvogelfonds of Birdlife the Netherlands.
Final exposure event of the Youth exchange, protecting the Chorokhi delta. There will be an exhibition on the delta and its importance for birds.
2013 was already the 3rd Autumn in which BRC organized an "Environmental Education Exchange" for students from Georgia, Armenia and Turkey.
On Sept 11th we said goodbye to over 20 great young students from the Caucasus who participated in our 2013 Birds and Biodiversity Camp.
From 10-15 august 2013 BRC hosted the first Back to Nature camp for 15 Georgian children between 10-14 years old, coming from different backgrounds.
In 2012 BRC implemented various education activities around environment and nature for various age-groups. This environmental education program stems out of activities conducted by the BRC in Adjaria, Georgia in previous years.
