After 3 months of flying from woodland to woodland, often following river valleys and making longer stops on the way, ‘our’ Levant Sparrowhawk ‘Dudu’ is now sending data from the savannahs of Tanzania!
We just returned home from the 3rd International Bird Observatory Conference (IBOC) in Eilat. It was a very successfull get together of people from bird observatories across the globe to share knowledge and experiences.
Autumn report 2016 is ready
After having had stands at birdfairs in Belgium, the Netherlands and Great Britain, this year was the first time BRC was actively promoted in Spain.
During 20-23 February most members of the enlarged BRC team came to Ghent to spend a long weekend together.
This season we started with some very positive upgrades to Sakhalvasho village. The days of fighting with the blue tarp are finally over… at least on station-1… We now have an actual shelter and proper stairs leading there.
