Ready to count!

The first hours of counting migratory raptors at Batumi has started. Honey Buzzards, Harriers and Bee-eaters have already passed the stations. This stimulates count coordinators and other BRC people even more to work hard and make sure everything is well prepared for the autumn count season 2013.

Meanwhile the BRC accommodations are overrun by children from the surrounding villages participating in the raptor youth camp, led by Belgian and Georgian teachers. This will hopefully secure the future of the count for many generations to come!

We welcome all participants and team members and are happy to work with all of you on the diverse projects of BRC.

Stay tuned for regular updates as news, daily count data and photos of the autumn count season will appear on our website. Or follow us on our facebook page: Batumi Raptor Count
