During your stay you can attend the BRC count stations (Sakhalvasho, Shuamta) and visit other birding and/or cultural highlights in the region. Your homestay will be located close to one of the count stations, and transport to the other one can be arranged through BRC. We will also assist you in organizing trips to some other popular destinations in the region (Mtirala National Park, Chorokhi Delta, Kobuleti and Kolkheti National Park). Upon arrival, you will receive a Georgian cell phone, which you can use for communication with BRC.

The price per person per night is set at 60 GEL. This includes 35 GEL for the accommodation and food at local people’s houses, 5 GEL for the service and a 20 GEL contribution to the BRC project.
Private transport arranged by BRC comes at fixed prices, e.g. 30 GEL for pick-up from Batumi airport to the village. Price lists for all frequent destinations will be provided upon booking.
Guides can be hired for 50 GEL per day / 30 GEL for half a day. Note that these people are beginning birders, and not ID specialists. They know where to go and where to find most species of interest, and will be a great help with practical matters.
